I only needed a bit of blue on this layout, so I just trimmed a couple of narrow strips from a piece I had left over from earlier. Less time spent searching through everything as it was still on my desk!

Scrapathon Sunday Evening Challenge
Posted in Challenges, Scrapathon on 07/27/2008 08:00 pm by Willow Tree CraftsFor a bit of fun…Use something from your handbag on your layout. This could be some memorabilia, a reciept, or use something to stamp with. You could just use a pen that you keep in there, or an emery board for sanding something…

- Willow Tree Crafts Zara Alphabet Stamp Set
- American Crafts Patterned Paper
- Willow Tree Crafts Journalling Spot Stamp
Details
The small journalling spot was stamped on the scrap torn off the large Blue block. Stamp this on the edge first and cut out, then tear across the bottom to make sure it fits. I didn’t and it was a bit close!
Alternative Options
Use 2 6×4 Portrait photos instead of the 8×6

This is a really quick layout to do. The My Minds Eye border stickers are great, already scallop cut, and a selection of colours and patterns on a single sheet.

Some patterned papers have so much pattern, that if you cut them up they can actually look like a number of different sheets. This paper from Sassafras Lass is like that, all the pattern here is from one sheet.
