Merry Christmas to all our customers.

Today we’ll be sending out all special delivery orders which should arrive before Christmas. There’s still time to get your order in, the planners are very popular, along with the refills, and we’ve still got a couple of the QuicKutz Revolution kits in stock, these will be great under the tree! Just make sure to select Special Delivery.

After today we’ll be closed until December 30th when we’ll ship out orders placed while we are closed. The Watford shop is closed until January 2nd when our Annual New Year Sale starts both instore and online.

Over the break we’ll still be blogging so do keep visiting, and we’ll see you in the New Year.

These new planners are just gorgeous. There are some photos of the Red, Bubblegum, Lime and Turquoise planners which are our favourite colours at the moment. Great feel good colours.

You can also see how full they are when you receive them, there’s plenty in there for you.

Our 2009 Planners have been redesigned. We’ve streamlined some of the pages, and created our own diary pages. Each week is split across 2 pages, with appointment times, and space for all those TO DO lists we accumulate. Theres also space at the top for a sketch (Keep an eye in the blog for those), or a place for an idea, print something from the Internet, or cut something out of a magazine.

I’ll be hoping to use this space for a bit of weekly inspiration.

We’ve got 2 great new colours, Lime and Turquoise, so grab one while they are in stock.

Shipping out today - all the Scrapbooking Planner 2009 Pack Pre-orders. They are all packed, but we’ve missed the postman for today, so I’m just off to take them down to the post office.

We do have a small number of the Tan, Pink, Blue and Lavendar kits availble for shipping now, and the others should be available at the end of next week. After next week we won’t be receiving any more stocks until after the new year, so do order one while the colour you want is available!

These planners are just perfect for the UK Scrapper. They use standard  A5 paper so you can use ANY A5 Filofax inserts, or just any old A5 paper. Print out anything you like and customise your planner to suit you.

I know many of you are dying to get your hand on refills for your scrapbooking planner. We have listened to your feedback, and changed some of the inserts, so you now get more of the ones  you really need.

In this years refill pack you get 60 Any Date diary pages, enough for 60 weeks of your diary, and you can start as soon as you receive them, or you can wait until your old diary runs out. There’s also spaces at the top of each week for you to fill with anything you like, perhaps a weekly sketch, or stick something in there to  inspire you, it’s totally up to you. By designing the Diary pages ourselves this year they are not quite so office based, and there’s room for all your notes and lists. We all love a good list don’t we!

The new packs will be ready for shipping December 5th, but you can order them now for shipping on that date (or before if we receive them before that date).

One of the things I like to keep in my planner are sketches. Some are my own on the included planner pages, but some of my faves are from the PageMaps site by Becky Fleck.

Becky kindly creates pages of sketches every month and has them available as PDF downloads. (there’s also an archive of previous months if you need it). Unfortunately the PDFs are 8.5×11 in size which doesn’t fit nicely into my A5 Planner.

There is a quick and easy solution, if you have a mac. It might work if you use Windows, but I never use PCs so I can’t be sure.

How to print out PageMaps for your planner:

1. Cut down some A4 paper to A5, or use A5 paper.
2. Put A5 paper into printer.
3. Open PDF files in Adobe Reader (I’ve got version 8).
4. Go to File - Page Setup.
5. Change Paper Size to A5.
   
6. Go to File - Print
7. Select Shrink to Printable Area.
   
8. Press Print.
9. Hey Presto - A full sheet of sketches ready for your planner.

Of course this technique can be used for any PDF, not just PageMaps.
