Well it looks like it’s been a bit quiet here for a while. After all that Scrapping for the Scrapathon I needed a bit of a break!

We have been busy little bees though organising Scrap Fever for October 2009. We’re really pleased to have Mary Anne Walters and Layle Koncar teaching great classes next year, and we’ve got the same fantastic venue at Latimer Place. Over half the spaces have already been Pre-Booked, and next Aprils event sold out in a matter of weeks, so do book now to guarantee your place.

If you are Pre-Registered for Scrap Fever April 2009, don’t forget that you’ve got until June 13th to confirm your registration. Login and update your registration with your booking option. The easiest way to pay is with Paypal for immediate confirmation.

How to add a Blinkie!

Here are some brief instructions to help you add that blinkie and to ensure the blinkie is blinking!!

Code:

Blogger

Go into your Template and choose Page Elements and then choose Add a Page Element in the Sidebar. From the pop up window select “HTML/javascript” and paste the above code into the text box and save.

Typepad

Create a new Typelist (Links List) and add an item. Add the code above into the notes field of your new item. Go to the ‘Configure’ tab and ensure that you have a tick in the ‘Notes as Text’ option. Save the settings and go into the Design area for your blog and make sure you have selected your new typelist in the ‘Select Content’ area .

Wordpress

Go to Design - Theme Editor and select your sidebar file. Choose where to display the blinkie and paste in the above code. Save your file.

UKScrappers / Other Forums

In your signature enter the following code:

As you have probably seen, we have opened the registrations for Scrap Fever for next April. I think everyone had a great time this year, which is why we are currently full with pre-registrations. we have set up a waiting list that you can join if any places become available.

We have a number of people already on the waiting list, so we are considering running a second weekend in 2009. IF we do run a second weekend we will offer places on it to those on the waiting list first, so even if you are pre-registered for the April event you can also register on the waiting list. There’s no commitment to the waiting list but it will give us an idea of numbers which will help us make any decision.

We’re busy with all the plans for next year and as soon as we can make any announcements we will do. Each year we learn new things and have new ideas on how to improve the weekend so we’re looking forward to it already
